This umbrella cover is ingenious. It has a rod in the side that is extended and assists in placing the cover over the top of the umbrella. In winds, the string on the opposite side assists in guiding the opening over the umbrella, as well. Then it pushes up into the cover, concealing it. This was the second of two products I purchased that was a returned item. It was in like-new condition (I don't think it had been used at all) just as the Bistro Cover was. Very durable and meaty fabric, not filmsy at all and well-constructed. Love the zipper half way up the side and the drawstring at the bottom. I didn't find the pole of much use though finding it too short for the purpose and the height of my umbrella. I am going to purchase a longer wooden dowel at the local [...](a buck or less) and suspect this will work out fine. Nevertheless, I did find that by unzipping it all the way, then folding half the cover wrong side out in a hollowed-out fashion and then tossing it to the top of my umbrella pole to work pretty well for getting it on in the interim. It lands a bit lopsided but grasping the wrong side out ends which fall downward after lobbing it to the top makes it really pretty easy to adjust and pull down. In the final analysis, this cover is of the same good quality as the Weather Ready Bistro cover. I see them both as lasting for many years to come and I'm quite happy with both purchases."..."
