These EnviroWood Adirondack chairs are VERY comfortable and durable. We live at the New Jersey shore and keep these chairs on our dock year-round. They are exposed to salt water, rain, and heavy winds daily, yet they look brand new (we got white). They are solid, sturdy, and hold up extremely well. They are heavy too, which means they won't blow around in the wind - a real plus being on the water. We never have to tie them down or bring them indoors in inclement weather. I am 5'5" and my husband is 6'6" and we both find these chairs the most comfortable outdoor chairs we've ever sat in. The seat slopes downward and seat back conforms to your back, and the rocking is gentle, which makes the chair extraordinarily comfortable. The arms and seat are wide. We had two chairs, and everyone in the family would fight over who got the Adirondack rocker, so we just ordered 6 more. They are worth every penny. Note: the Shell Back model is more comfortable than the Classic model. I have sat in both. The Classic seat doesn't slope as much and the back isn't as rounded to conform to your back. If torn between the two, I would strongly recommend the Shell Back. Also note: you will need a handy husband or handyman to assemble these chairs, or buy them pre-assembled from a store."..."  Read more

I searched and searched to find the best rocking chair to compliment our new front door replacement. I chanced purchasing two in the medium oak and when my husband assembled them we were very pleased and proud to place them on our front porch. THEY LOOK GREAT!!! I shopped extensively over the internet before deciding on this chair. Less expensive chairs just didnt look that nice and more expensive chairs didnt offer enough in appearance and apparent comfort to justify the cost. Kingsley-Bate is well-known for quality merchandise and this rocker is a prime example of why. The two rockers I ordered were very well packaged and came knocked down with only five pieces each to assemble. I'm disabled and I was able to put both rockers together in less than 10 minutes total. You can tell, just by looking, that the teak is highest-grade. I have a lot of teak furniture and these rockers are the nicest. They're also unbelievably comfortable..so much so that I dont need any cushions. There's absolutely nothing that I would change or want different about them."..."  Read more
