This set replaced a teak table that we were tired of caring for each season. We have many other products from Seaside Casual and have been very pleased with the comfort and appearance, even after wintering outside covered in snow. Unlike teak, the most care they need is a wipe with a damp cloth. When assembling this set, be careful with the screws that attach the diagonal braces in the front. The screws poked through the seats or the side legs a couple of times (back them out a bit and then use the smooth rounded end of the screwdriver to smooth out the damage). Also, we had a very large rectangular umbrella and base and the holes were not large enough for the pole. We were able to make them bigger (work from the underside, use a hole saw drill bit--but be sure to drill pilot holes around the edge first--and use a torque adjustable drill otherwise the bit will travel and scratch the material or worse). Enjoyed our first meal at the table, with umbrella in place, on July 4th and we love it. Sits six very comfortably, but can seat eight or even ten--if there are kids at the table. It's wide enough for serving platters and bowls. Worth the money. Now we can sell the teak."..." Read more
