The Fox Run Craftsmen Steel Pasta Machine is wonderful. Yes, it is annoying that you can not use it with a curved kitchen counter but that is just how it goes with this style of pasta machine. The detachable hand crank ended up on my kitchen floor numerous times and was annoying but I can store this machine at the back of my cupboard with minimal space.
Overall, I am so happy with this machine. I love that it is so tough, so heavy. I feel that it can handle anything I throw at it without collapsing under my accident-prone hands. I used it to make my own linguini and ravioli and they were both fantastic. Amazing price for such a tough high-quality product. Got this pasta machine to make a special kind of Italian dough (sfogliatella) that needs to be stretched and rolled tight. The machine works perfectly. I wish my table would be a little less thick so that the clamp can be tightened to it. Otherwise a big thumbs up and worth every penny. I finally found a pasta machine with some size and strongly built,too.The only thing is I wish it had larger lasagna maker,such as two across the flat strip.It would be closer to normal size and easier to fill.Also,a head to cut different egg noodle sizes.Overall it's the best I've come across.With the two above cutting heads,there wouldn't be a machine to beat the Pasta Fresh 5!!!"..."
