We are extremely happy with the quality of the Portofino Entertainment Center we purchased. Looks beautiful! The one small complaint I think I'd have would be the quality of the instructions for the unit (they're practically non-existent!). Just a single sheet with a picture on it. Typical for items manufactured overseas. And in the end, it's not really all that necessary. Everything fits together pretty smoothly and it's fairly self explanatory anyway!

Service Review

I would say the delivery took a LONG time making it across from one coast to the other, but if that was a serious problem, I would have paid more to ship it faster. Other than that, most everything did arrive in good condition. The bridge portion of our unit arrived cracked from shipping, but Racks and Stands immediately sent another one out at no extra charge to us. Great Service!

We needed an entertainment center to hold our 65" tv, cover a large wall, not cost a fortune,and match our new leather furniture. This unit was perfect. Had difficulty getting proper measurements for tv height. It was given as holding a plasma up to 72". I had to look up dimensions on a plasma and compare with ours. Height was a little low but customer service said the shelf on top was adjstable. It didn't adjust enough so I modified it and raised the shelf 1 1/2". Worked fine and looks great. Quality was very good and comparable units cost 2 to 3 times as much.

This is an impressive entertainment center - it looks great in a living room. The expandability feature is exellent. The installation was perfect. This style blends well with other furniture pieces.

I was very pleased after taking the risk of buying online. My end piers do tilt inward a little bit, I assume becuase of the weight. All in all, it is a very good value for the money, especially if you have shopped and priced these types of centers. I would recommend this. Also, I think the storage for CD/DVD's is rather useless and would rather just have an empty cabinet.

This piece makes the den look fabulous! It is an attractive piece. The storage compartments are numerous - more than are required for all of our items. While it is easy to assemble, it is quite heavy and difficult to move, so you need to be sure you have it where you want it. Only complaint is the fact that there is no back to the space where the TV sits, so wires show. We added a black cloth to hide them.

I am very happy with this entertainment center. I love the idea that I am not stuck when I decide to purchase a larger tv. Expandable, what an awesome idea. Great entertainment center for the price.
