Wow, what a great buy this unit was! I had a quote from a local carpenter to build in a similar unit for me for $7600.00... when I found this Hartford Entertainment Center for less than one third of the other quoted price. I was skeptical when I placed my order as the only review I could see of this unit was one star and quite negative. I ordered it anyway, knowing that I could return it if I wasn't satisfied. Was I ever pleased when it arrived in perfect shape, carefully packed in tons of styrofoam, and when I got it all set up, I was amazed at how great it looked in my living room with my new 70 inch 3D TV. I get nothing but compliments and of course I tell everyone my secret of where I got it from! Yes, it's made in China, and I wish that we could make them in North America for the same price and employ our own workers; that's my only regret. Otherwise, I am nothing but ecstatic with this purchase.

Service Review

I live in Langley, British Columbia, so I had this shipped to a parcel depot in Blaine, Washington, and picked it up with my trailer and brought it across the border. This was as easy as pie. It came in four large boxes, and everything was very well packed and protected in cardboard and styrofoam, so there was absolutely no damage to any of the pieces. And to my surprise, it came almost fully assembled in the boxes, so what I thought was going to be a major assembly project for me turned out to be next to nothing!

Product Review

We are very happy with our purchase. The cabinet arrived without damage, and was easy to set up. It fits all of our components perfectly, and the 52" flat screen works well in the space. We could have chosen a larger TV because of the expandability option, but didn't need to. The touch lighting is such a nice feature. The top of the cabinet is unfinished, so if you have a cathedral ceiling where you look down on it from the 2nd floor, like we do, it is not very pretty, but with that being our only negative, we are totally satisfisfied.

Service Review

We did not get the inside/setup service that we had paid for, but one quick phone call to Wayfair resulted in them refunding our fee with absolutely no question, so there was no problem.

I really thought I would love this piece of furniture when it arrived . . . but I am so disappointed. It arrived with one door hanging off its hinges and two other doors were crooked. This is a white piece of furniture, but the top of it is BLACK, and the back of it is BLACK. You can see the black top when you walk down the steps into my den. It looks terrible. If I could return it, I would. But sadly, it looks like I am going to have to paint the top of it myself. How ridiculous to spend so much money and receive such a cheap product. [$]The hinges should have been put on after the wood was painted, but they clearly were not because there are white paint specks all over the hinges. Parker House should be ashamed of this product.
