I purchased this big pan mostly for cooking hamburgers, eggs, etc... Everyday cooking on my Wolf gas cook top... I dont like cooking on stainless cause stainless doesnt get that nice layer of carbon which prevents food from sticking... This is an excellent burger frying pan... It is huge... Plenty of space around the edges to warm hamburger buns while cooking the burgers in the center... It is much lighter and easier to clean than a cast iron pan of similar size... Cast iron can also crack if dropped of if you quench it in water while it is still hot... Steel pans dont have this problem... Another thing I like about it is the high sides... It keeps the spatter and mess to a minimum... The thin steel gets hot faster than thick cast iron... The pan will warp a little when heated but this is not a problem and is common with a thin steel pan... I dont want you to think the pan is not too thin... It is tough and will last years..."..."
