Overview

The spiral vegetable slicer cuts vegetables and fruits into curly, ribbon-like slices. By placing the vegetable or fruit on the prongs of the wheel and turning the wheel while pushing the base toward the vertical julienne blade, continuous spiral strands and curled julienne strips are created. The slicer is made of plastic.

Easy to use and priced well

I found this locally but saved several dollars by buying through Wayfairs. The main reason a bought it from Wayfair was the salesman at the local store that carries it was rude when I inquired. The product works excellently. I have been making Zucchini noodles with it. It works like a charm. The woman who recommended this product says that she uses it daily in her restaurant, and it takes her almost four years to wear one out. She uses it on almost every meal she prepares. I have already recommended it to others.

Great Zuchini Pesto

I bought this after a friend's party where she served "zucchini pasta pesto". This machine makes it very easy to make spiral spaghetti made from zucchini that you serve raw with a pesto sauce. It not only tastes delicious but is very healthy as well. I just used it last night for coleslaw. It is easy to use, reasonably priced and easy to clean. Be careful, however, as the blades are very sharp. An excellent buy.

This spiral slicer is great for the price. There are three interchangeable blades to give you three different slices. Works great to create the famed "zucchini noodles" , and can make awesome homemade curly fries. A little difficult to clean, though I've found that with using a dishwashing brush, the bristles get deep enough in there to clean the blades and avoid any sliced fingers.
