POLYWOOD manufactures casual outdoor furniture that you will be proud to own – for a lifetime.
POLYWOOD is a high performance wood lumber substitute manufactured from high density plastic. It consists of high density polyethylene resins, and select coloring and foaming agents. POLYWOOD is processed into a specification product that closely resemble painted and natural wood products that absorb no moisture, making them resistant to rotting, warping, cracking or splintering. In addition, POLYWOOD is compounded with permanent UV stabilized colors that eliminate the need for painting and staining, waterproofing, or stripping and resurfacing.
POLYWOOD products are impervious to many common corrosive substances including salt water as well as gasoline and hydrocarbon oils.
Solid Rocking Chair
Lisa from FORT MILL, SC – Verified Buyer
This chair is a great buy if you are looking from something on the front porch that will not paint, chip, peel, mold or mildew. If you can get over the plastic feel the fact that you won't have to do anything maintenance wise to the chair down the road is why I purchased. Having said all the above, the chair took two brains to put together. You will have to losen a few of the pieces that came together from the factory in order to bend and make the rest chair flexible enough to make the finish product work. Definitely took two people. Pricey but worth the money because will not need replacing.
Comfortable, durable chair
Dana from SC – Verified Buyer
We bought this for our son's nursery with plans to move it to our porch after it is no longer needed inside. The color and style match the description, and it is a very comfortable chair. My husband put it together with no trouble in about 20 minutes and used the allen wrench that came with it rather than the drill bit, as other people suggested. Very pleased with our purchase!
Tough to put together
Carol from Wrentham, MA – Verified Buyer
I purchased 2 of these rockers and I really like them, BUT, they are impossible to put together. One is already together (by a 31 year old male, this 60 year old female couldn't do it), but he's postponing putting the second one together as the first was such a pain and never completely correctly put together. One screw still won't go in all the way and it took tools that I had, vs. the "tools" that they include, to achieve that. Wouldn't advise someone who has no help to purchase it.
Sturdy with great style

Sturdy, stylish, and I am completely comfortable leaving it out through all four seasons. Worth the price!
