POLYWOOD manufactures casual outdoor furniture that you will be proud to own – for a lifetime.
POLYWOOD is a high performance wood lumber substitute manufactured from high density plastic. It consists of high density polyethylene resins, and select coloring and foaming agents. POLYWOOD is processed into a specification product that closely resemble painted and natural wood products that absorb no moisture, making them resistant to rotting, warping, cracking or splintering. In addition, POLYWOOD is compounded with permanent UV stabilized colors that eliminate the need for painting and staining, waterproofing, or stripping and resurfacing.
POLYWOOD products are impervious to many common corrosive substances including salt water as well as gasoline and hydrocarbon oils.
Worth the Price !!!

We've had the chaise lounger for a few weeks now. Let me say right up front that this lounger is heavy and stout. We bought this longer because we've had experiences with other PolyWood products, and they have not disappointed. I am a larger individual at 6-foot-5 and 300 pounds, and this lounger is taking the abuse. Be forewarned: The unit is a bit on the heavier side, but is moved easily with two people. I have every reason to believe this unit will last quite a while. Assembly took a bit of time as the stainless steel screws are positioned such that a full revolution cannot be made with the included tool. Clean-up is a breeze with a rag we get hard water deposits on ours from the sprinkler, and they come off easily. Yes, a but pricey, but well worth it.
