Outdoor Bar Furniture

We have limited space and replaced our dining table and chairs with a counter and the stools. We -- and everyone else -- love the stools. The only issue we are having is the tops of the stools have gotten "scraped" because of being pushed in under the counter. Is there someway to eliminate this and/or "fix" the "scrapes"? I just received 3 bar stools that I had ordered and I am very pleased. The finish is darker than I anticipated, but that was an oversight on my part. If anyone knows how to lighten the color please let me know. Everyone should know that the product arrived exactly as advertised. The merchandise also arrived super fast. It is hard ro find outdoor bar stools but these are a winner. I like that they are comfortable to sit in without having to add cushions, light weight but stable, and good looking on the patio. color is true; description is exactly as stated; worsmanship is precise and stools construction is sturdy. a definite asset to my kitchen/dining room area! 30 '' height is just the right height for my kitchen countertop.
