The side seams don't bother me at all. These arrived in good shape and look just as I wanted. I'm pleased with them.
The Devil is in the Details

I saw these urns at a local shop, but purchased my 2 urns from Wayfair as the price was definitely better. However, unlike the pieces I saw in my local shop, these have very visible seams where the 2 halves of the molds were joined. The seams run vertically and as there is one on each side so I can't even hide it in the back. One of three seams is more camouflaged than the others, so it does appear to depend on the skill of whoever applies the final finish. With just a little more attention to detail, these pots could be almost indistinguishable from an antique. Previous reviewers have not mentioned this issue. Maybe the quality is in decline

Great quality, heavy material and gives the look of a pot thats 100 years old! Nice front or rear deck feature.

I was impressed with this pot. It's made from some sort of very lightweight composite material that looks very nice - not plasticy or cheap at all. Great for our deck and it doesn't weigh a ton!

The two urns that I purchased were beautiful.....the distressed finish and coloring was exactly what I expected. Lightweight and sturdy.
