Reminding Me Of Our Island

My hubby and I wanted to be reminded of our wedding in Maui and decorate our new home with an Island theme. We ordered this rug and a circular one with the same pattern on it for our back yard to go under our patio furniture. I was unhappy about how they were rolled them. They must have piled too many or other heavy things on them, because they were really creased when I received them and impossible to get those creases out. I had them for around 5 months outside through many rainstorms and they would always go back to their original creasing when they dried. They fly up around the tables way too much when it is windy. The smaller circular rug was a different shade of browns even though it should have been exactly the same. I was really glad it was further away from the rectangular one. I have rolled them up and put them in my basement for the winter months (I did so INSIDE OUT so that they will not roll up when I put them back out in the yard in the spring, something they should have known to do since they are in the carpet business). I do like the patterns on them and the feel of them. They do cause alot of bugs to hide under them and the sand between my brickpavers to push up onto our patio. It is very weird. This is the first time I have put outdoor carpeting in my yard and it is something I probably wouldnt do again. But it does look awesome when guests come over. They always say how cool it looks and feel more comfortable when they are hanging out in the yard. I would never put bare feet on them though. Too many bugs occassionally crawling on them. I would recommend these to someone who has a Florida room or an enclosed porch patio area.
