This OmniMount Elo series was very inexpensive and I wasn't sure that it would meet the grade. But with a glass base and a low price, I decided to try it out anyway and I'm glad I did. [...] once I saw how it was put together I was impressed and pleased. The post (spray painted silver gray) is securly attached to the base and there are enough mounting brackets supplied to deal with most any speaker system. My Energy Take Classic speakers could easily have been mounted using 3 different methods (all supplied with the stands)but easiest was using the included L bracket and 1/4-20 screws. The 16 gauge speaker wire was easy to fish through the tubing and I'd guess that even 14 gauge would be OK as well.Once everything was mounted, wired and in place, I was pleased with how sturdy the speakers seemed to sit on the carpeting of my den floor. While a small child or large dog would certainly knock these stands over if they brushed against them, they don't seem to be top heavy or unstable. They look good and the wiring is totally hidden. There's enough adjustablilty in most every direction that you're bound to be able to fit most situations. The glass bases are so much more attractive than a big chunk 'o cast iron too.All said, I'm pleased with this purchase and I believe that the Omnimount Elo Series provides good value.

Product was very easy to assemble and the mounting method for surround speakers worked perfectly. Has a very simple clean look to it.

This was perfect for my Scandyna pod speakers. They look great and weren't too hard to set up.

Solid speaker stand and glad it is adjustable. Perfect height and stability (wire hides thru the pole which is good)
Sturdy and affordable.

The product looks nice with the speakers we have. It was reasonably priced and stable on the carpeted floor.

This was exactly what I was looking for. The tempered glass base is sleek and the stand holds speakers very steady.
Beautiful but Flimsy

These are gorgeous black glass based stands. I thought the would look really cool with my gloss black NHT Super Zeros and they would have BUT these little speakers are built like a little brick house and these stands can't begin to handle the weight. Instructions (which I didn't read until too late) advise 4 pounds max and they are not kidding. If you have "little tiny" plastic speakers, like those Bose Cubes, these would be great. The adjustable upright mounts to the base with a flacky little plastic "crush" washer......so a trip to the hardware store eliminated them for a good oversized heavy nylon flat washer on the bottom side of the base plate helped stability. If you could find a nice black one for the top side of the base plate, you could really improve this stand. (Too bad the manufacturer can't spend an extra 6 pennies to improve the quality of their product) These just are not heavy enough on the bottom to support any real quality speaker. The top mounts do have versatility and give several speaker moounting options but I am now in the process of getting gloss black marble tiles, drilling holes in the middle so I can run wire up the post, then bonding the marble to the black glass base to provice me the balast needed on the bottom end. I am also going to need to make 1 more trip to the hardware store to obtain a top nut soI can tighten the post from the bottom and top both, snuggly to sandwhich the tile and glass base together and secure the adjustable post. Looks good but I should have just spent a few more bucks and bought a wood (stabile) stand. I am an old Auto Body Tech, so most folks would not have the imagination and determination to "make these work" for their application. These are good looking !

System sounds great and everything came in working condition. Instructions for assembling of rear speakers was a bit confusing but eventually, I figured out how to assemble them
Very nice speaker stands

They are very nice and look very nice too. Everything is great with instructions and they were easy to assemble. They look like they do online.

Great price for very nice quality speaker stands. Be aware even though the stand and pole allows speaker wire to be routed through it, there is no exit for the wire at the top where the speaker attaches. That is strange.
