Looks great with the others!!

Product Review

This is my second purchase of an Old Modern Handicrafts large wooden ship and as with the first purchase, it makes a great addition to our nautical-themed family room. We placed it on our fireplace mantel under track lighting and it looks great and receives many compliments. Extremely pleased with this model ship.

Service Review

As with the first model ship, this one arrived packaged well and in perfect condition. I truly appreciate getting the shipping notification and tracking info from Wayfair.

Outstanding Model

Product Review

The quality of the large (37-38 inch) OHM (Old Modern Handicrafts) models is truly outstanding. The hours of labor and quality of materials is remarkable. I have purchased three of the large ships of the line (Victory, Royal Louis and Espirit) and have been extremely pleased with all of them. Espirit is of particular interest as it was part of de Grasse's squadron at the battle of the Chesapeake which forced the British fleet away from Yorktown. It was also at Yorktown helping prevent British support. As a result it was a key ship in helping the US to win its independence. Beautifully decorated this is a model for anyone who loves the era of sail. Truly a work of art!

Service Review

OHM has been extremely fast in shipping via Fed X and in most cases I have received Wayfair purchased ships from OHM in less than a week after being shipped from California to Missouri. Each model is incredibly well packed and crated. While this requires some work to uncrate the model it also means arriving in great shape. One box had some severe external damage but because of how well it was packed the model came through just fine. One model had a minor part (one small cannon) missing and an e mail to OHM got it replaced quickly. One other had one deck cannon that had come loose but they provide glue for just such mishaps.
