That being said, check your measurements before you purchase it. The measurements given provide for area where the desks are perpendicular and are measured twice. Excluding the keyboard tray, essentially the bottom of the L is approx. 56 x 24, then you have an additional desk on your right measuring 40. I was foolishly believed the desk portion on the right would be longer at 73. It's not close to that..The measurements are: (without tray open) 23 12 deep of actual work surface. They measure diagonally at the meeting of two desks for the 34 advertisement. The bottom of the L is 56. The perpendicular part of the desk, minus the 23 12 depth of the bottom of the L is 40. Essentially it's smaller than you think...That being said, this is a pretty cool looking desk. There is a little trolley you assemble to store your computer tower if you have one. Instructions are very thoroughly and thoughtfully laid out. Everything is labeled logically. It's pretty much idiot-proof. For the price you can't beat it.."..." Read more - JR in Chandler, AZ |

5 stars I bought the desk with the hutch, along with two file cabinets and two hutches from the peninsula wall unit to create my office suite. Wow - I am so pleased with my purchase. Pictures do not do this furniture justice. So much nicer looking in real life. I spent a lot of time reading reviews from all over the net on this particular line of furniture and everywhere gave it great reviews. Now I know why. The delivery was an easy and smooth process. It does all come fully assembled which was a major plus for me. I wanted something well built that looked good and wasn't overpriced. The lap drawer and the keyboard tray are interchangeable so I swapped them around so my monitor is on the actual desk and not on the return side. The only drawback is you have to close one to open the other, but unless you have a true corner desk, it will be that way with any unit. The cabinet on the return has a pull out tray for a printer, but it needs to be a fairly small printer. Our all in one (print, fax, scan, copy) would not fit on the tray. But luckily, mine is wifi so I just put it on the top of the file cabinethutch combo and it fits perfectly there.
The only negative is there are no built in lights in the hutch to illuminate your worksurface.
