I have not had it long enough to speak to that, except to wonder if that customer protected it as was recommended by manufacturer. This trellis is substantial enough that I cut off the bottom portion of this trellis, painted the decorative roses, added hinges and a decorative handle and installed it between two metal posts as a garden gate.
