It is heavy indeed. I couldnt see the table design on the picture, but it actually has a umbrella stand hole in the middle. I dont think anyone would put umbrella though. It looks better without it. The chair looks smaller than it is but it works for me (I'm 5'2") and my husband (6') One thing I want to mention is when you assemble this, make sure the bolts have smooth ends where the screwdriver goes in. if it has a some piece sticking out as a manufacture defect, cut it with a cutting tool. I ended up cutting myself when i was running my finger through the bolt. Was this helpful? Yes / No

The finish has a awesome bronze look. Assembly was easy, and all of the parts fit nicely without any unevenness and it was easy to put together.
