Even better than I expected

I have been watching a number of cooking shows lately & found that many chefs recommend using a meat tenderizer to ensure even cooking. I have looked around but found most to be bulky & awkward to handle. This OXO is lightweight but constructed beautifully - fits great in your hand does a phenominal job (my chicken has never tasted better) and seems balanced so that you can flatten your proteins without mashing them. One thing to note - item is NOT dishwasher safe but is really easy to clean. Would highly recommend.

Great item.

Well made, sturdy. Very good materials. Nothing replaces this item when you need to pound meat and looks like it will last a lifetime. Glad I purchased it.
