Nourison Graphic Illusions Grey Rug
Arlene from Camp Hill, PA
It is a pretty rug however, it was thinner than what I was expecting. You will definitely need a rug pad if you are placing it on top of hardwood flooring to prevent slidding.
Exactly what I wanted

This rug looks just as pictured, is soft, and adds great contemporary contrast to my living room. Shipping was a matter of days! Not the plushest rug ever made, so if you want something very thick, you might want to get a pad or another rug. I'm so pleased that it came exactly as I expected.

Rug is beautiful, I just recently reprinted my daughter's bedroom, this rug matches perfectly, it does have a purple tone when laid in the room. I love the way it looks

The rug is as pictured and soft. Perfect accent piece to a gray room because of the different colors. Definitely need a pad to avoid slipping and scratching of your floors.

Bought this rug for my foyer doorway, it is a beautiful rug but it is very lightweight and slippery. Rug mats to make it stick do not work, if you step down too hard walking on it, you may slip and fall. We have since moved the rug to in front of the sink which is safer. Otherwise great rug, pretty to look at and easy to clean.

Looks great! Subtle but elegant, goes well with the grey walls and wood floors
Together, in 1980, the Peykars took these insights and began to turn them into an outstanding success in a wholesale operation with a new and highly focused business philosophy. Initially, the company was called Noury & Sons, in honor of the family patriarch, Noury Peykar. At that time, the Peykars saw a promising future in wholesale because they were able to bring in large assortments of rugs that had not been readily available before. They sought to create new merchandising possibilities with truly programmed handmade collections. Their strategy was to address the retailer's most vital concern – always having the right rug, in the right color and design, when they needed it. The new company worked on the assumption that delivery was going to be the foundation of long term success.
Known today as Nourison, the company that the Peykars founded in 1980 is now the world's leading and most diversified producer and importer of handmade area rugs. Recognized throughout the home fashion community for the range and exemplary quality of its assortments, the company has achieved a conspicuous leadership position in the market through an aggressively innovative approach to product development. "Our strategy is simple and consistent," observes Alex Peykar. "We look at the market to see what other companies are doing, and then we do something different – we focus on creating new opportunities."
From classic Tibetan weaves to hand-knotted wool and silk Chinese carpets, from museum quality flatweaves to sumptuously hand-finished power loom designs, Nourison rugs offer a unique combination of beauty, craftsmanship, and value in virtually every price and construction category. Most recently, the company has introduced several collections of luxury broadloom, which have been enthusiastically received by retailers and consumers throughout the United States.
