cotton candy maker

Makes small amount of candy and needs to cool down in between batches.

I bought this for my daughter's birthday party and it was a hit! I really like that you can put any hard candy in the machine and turn it into cotton candy!

I heated it up for about 8 minutes before adding the sugar/candy, and the floss appeared about a minute after that. Since there were a lot of kids lined up to test the results, the two plastic cones that come with it weren't nearly enough to go around so we used thin 12" long wooden dowel rods which you can get at a craft store for about 5 cents each.
Xmas gift for nieces

They were thrilled with it and other machines I sent. They are doing a yard carnival. Easy and fun to use.
More Like a Cheap Toy

I got this out to make some cotton candy for me and my kids, expecting it to work like a real kitchen appliance, I found out real fast it was more like a child's play toy. It holds only a table spoon of sugar at a time and it does not make cotton candy to look anything like what is on the photo here, more like thin cobwebs. If you are serious about getting a cotton candy maker, save up and get a commercial one like the professionals have - that's what i am going to do. This one is a waste of money, do not be fooled because it is so cute, it does not even make a good toy.

My order went just fine and all of the items came in good time. This is a good quality cotton candy maker that woks just as I hoped it would.
Fun for all

This machine works like the real thing.Seems to be well built-not like a lot of cooking toys.Havent tried any hard candies but it worked like champ with (same brand) mixes.
Its a toy, dont forget!

The machine works very well but I dont see the day it will make cotton candy like on the picture. Works better with the powder sugar than with the hard candy.

This cotton candy machine makes great cotton candy. Not the easiest to take the center spinning piece off to clean and so I may have bent it a bit, but it still seems to work. The first few I made were huge and fluffy and then they started to get smaller. This may be because I bent it, but now they are just inconsistent. This is not for large crowds because it can overheat and it takes about 10 minutes to heat up before actually making one. Other than that, decent machine. I just wish it were easier to take apart.
Fun fun fun!

The cotton candy machine is amazing, even though shipping costs was quite expensive. I bought this for my niece as a gift for her birthday and she just loves it! It's easy to use and clean.
