Therefore, I was looking for a small pan that would accommodate the batter of the larger pan rather than halve the recipe. This way I have one cake for the trifle recipe and one plain cake to use at a later time (freezes well) or serve on the side. The pan cooks very evenly, and releases the cake with ease. I lowered the cooking temp by 25 degrees and they turned out very moist and yummy. Also, the cakes popped right out of the pan, other brands have given me difficulty since moving to high altitude.
