Nordicware Natural Commercial High Dome Covered Pie Pan

Nordicware never disappoints. This covered, high dome lidded pie pan is a great addition to my baking accessory repertoire. Keep the cut into pie fresh and neat and you can store it in or out if the fridge easily. No more awkward plastic wrap :)

I wish they made a 9 inch one also!!! Very good quality. Nice size for large pies. The lid fits very snug. great for stacking in the refrigerator.

This is a larger than normal pie pan, but I love it. I made 2 pies for Christmas, a cranberryapple and an ice cream pie and loved the size. Next Im going to try pot pies in the 2 that I bought and know for once they are not going to go over the sides.

This pie pan is excellent for large pies. It is heavy and cooks very evenly. The dome covers pies with toppings so no mess transporting and pies stay fresh longer.

I got the opportunity to review this product for my blog. I was attracted to it because of the 10-inch size and the plastic domed lid. I often wonder how I'm going to store pies (preferring some type of lid to plastic wrap) and I figured this would be a solution. For under $20, the value seemed good. However, if you build the crust up with a nice crimped edge on the rim of the pie dish the lid won't fit. I was surprised at the construction of the design since I would have thought Nordic Ware to have thought this out a bit better, maybe making the lid seal along the underside of the rim. This doesn't detract from the quality of the rust-free aluminum pie pan, though. The heat distribution was great and I liked the wide rim, which gave me more surface area to hold as I removed it from the oven.
