Good cake pan
Corin from Brighton, MA– Verified Buyer
I haven't used this much myself, but my wife says it's great. The cakes she's made with it definitely are great, and the pan cover is a nice convenience for storage and transport. It's also easy to clean.

Good size...a little lightweight but will do fine...would order again.
A kitchen standby
Midwestern cook from Iowa
These cake pans are identical to those that have been available for at least 50 years. They are useful for all kinds of bars, brownies, and even Jell-o. What's more, they are built to last for generations.
This is a must have pan!
Happy Brownie Maker from South Bend, IN– Verified Buyer
I love this pan! I have had one for many years, and now that my kids are adults, I went to the local department store (what a joke, couldn't find one anywhere, which is how I found this great web site) to buy my oldest son one, now that he's on his own. The pan is great for brownies, cakes, lasagna, stuffed peppers, you name it. The lid doubles as a baking sheet for cookies, french fries, onion rings, chicken, and so on. If you make a dish that bakes covered, you have a lid (and don't need foil). This pan is the best! I bought one for my oldest, and then later bought one for each of my kids and an extra for me. Like I said, this is a must have item, also makes a great gift!
Pretty good for the money

Nothing super special, but it's decent. It's a much lighter weight than I thought it would be, despite the reviews saying it was light. It's fine though. I noticed that when I ran it through the dishwasher, it seemed to hold onto the soap or something - I can never seem to get it perfectly clean-looking, though I'm sure it's actually clean.

Silver cake pans are hard to find. They cook more even and are less likely to burn like the dark non stick cake pans that you buy today. They don't scratch either. I was thrilled when my pan arrived. It was heavier than I expected and I love the metal lid. It has a beautiful finish also. I would recommend this pan to anyone.
Great cake pan

Great pan and cover...really good fit! I bake cakes and decorate for family birthdays and I really like it. The quality is high and I would definitely buy it again.
Keeps food fresh, great product

The locking lid is a great feature- better than plastic wrap. Not exactly the heavy "commercial grade" I was expecting, but it does the job for my small kitchen more than adequately.

Recommend this pan for cakes or brownies or any other baked item. I like the lid so I can carry items to functions without spilling or smashing the top.
Not my idea of a "commercial" pan
Madsgran from Southern California– Verified Buyer
I was disappointed in the weight and finish of the product. I ordered the baking sheets from the same commercial line and thought they were terrific, but how this pan fits in I don't know. It is similar to what one would find in a grocery store line. The edges of the lid are rough--they feel like they will cut you if you aren't careful handling it. I have an old (30 yr.+) covered aluminum pan with a sliding lid that is sturdy and finished well. I purchased this pan for my daughters thinking I was getting a new, quality pan for a great price. Rather I got what I paid for...a [$] pan not worth one penny more! Buyer beware!
