I ordered this and thought I was getting black; which was my fault for not reading further. They are espresso and I love the color. It is very sturdy and very easy to put together. I did it all myself. I have gotten so many compliments from my friends and family. They cannot believe how inexpensive this bed was. It looks expensive.

It was easy to assemble. Had to go through the whole instructions apply some common sense to figure out which side of some pieces goes up. It would have been nice it there were some text along with the assembling guide pictures to explain things. I like the actual colour , it is darker than the one in the picture here. Im little worried that contact points between ground and bed doesnt look that solid, let me hope that it supports the weight of the bed, a heavy queen size mattress me on top of it. For now, no squeaking sounds, maybe Im just paranoid about it. At present there is only one bad thing about this bed, the edges and corners are super sharp I had to cover them up with comforters ends to avoid hurting myself.

This bed is in our master bedroom. It was very easy to assemble and it looks great in the room with the theme that we are going for. I like that it's also a platform bed, which is great for our foam memory mattress. The only downside to this bed so far is that it makes noises when we turn in bed. But we have gotten use to it. We have had this bed for about 8 months and so far it's been very sturdy. Over all it is a great bed for a good price.

I've had the bed for less than a month and so far so good. I was a bit worried about the amount of particle board used and the fact that I'm a big Guy ( over 270 lbs) but it holds up nicely. No squeaking or bowing. Make Sue you keep the directions if you plan on moving or relocating the bed. It looks very stylish. Similar to a bed I've seen at a certain Swedish do it yourself furniture store[...].The only cons are the sharp edges. Be careful in a smaller room. If you knick your leg on this thing it will hurt.

Delivery was extremely prompt. Product arrived in excellent condition. But boxes are very heavy.

Went together easily enough, but I kept looking at the edges - what you can't see easily from the picture are that the edges on the sids float - no support on the ground. The entire edge on both sides is supported by the screws in the headboard and footboard, and two small pressboard pieces that are only a few inches in size held with 2 screws. So about the last foot and a half on both sides of the bed doesn't have very good support. Setup was a breeze, and the finished product looks good and works fine, but we've been using it by getting in and out of the bottom foot area, rather than over the sides. Time will tell if the sides will fail from lack of support or not.

Great bed - I don't know that it will last forever, but it suits my purposes & looks quite nice. It was the devil to put together, however.

[...]. One was SO heavy I had to dismantle it at the front door and haul it in piece by piece. It took about 1 & 1/2 hours to put together and the directions were pretty straightforward. The directions could have been a little more clear about which side went up or down on certain pieces. But overall - I'm very satisfied. It's sturdy, well made and looks great! Although - I'm going to dread moving it someday because it's heavy as heck!

Came right on time! I had to help the UPS woman get it out of the truck because it was so heavy. Could have been packed in more smaller boxes boxes to make delivery easier on the delivery service and myself!!
