Convenient, practical, pretty, and effective

This cat box enclosure works perfectly in my living room. It took my cats less than 2 days to adjust to it, and they love sitting on top of it in front of the window to watch the squirrels play outside. It doesn't completely eliminate all cat box odor, but it does reduce it dramatically. I placed a large dog potty training pad on the bottom to catch any misses but over a month in and there have been none. I was also prepared to install a battery operated motion control light inside since it does shut out most light, but even that hasn't been necessary. There is still some litter tracked out of the box, but most stays inside. The lift off lid is simple to remove so that the box is readily accessible for cleaning. The whole thing came in one large box and it IS heavy, but I was able to manage it myself and since it is already assembled, it was easy enough to place it and get it working. I selected the bluish gray color and it even fits the color scheme of my living room. Final recommendation comes from a friend who visited for a week and watched lots of television in the living room. He's actually allergic to cats and never once had a complaint about a litter box right there in the same room. I would highly recommend this product and am delighted that I got it.
Enclosed cat litter box

I've only had this box a few weeks, but so far I am loving it! I put the bottom of a regular (medium) size litter box inside the box, lined it w/ a garbage bag for easy clean-up, and put a scat mat directly inside the container (right in front of the actual litter box), plus I put a scat mat in front of the container itself. When the cats step out, the litter is contained inside the box. My cats took to it easily and I would say that about 95% of the litter stays contained inside this wooden box and what doesn't stays on the mat outside the container. It's a little expensive (although I did get it on sale), but to me it's worth it. No more litter all over the room! Pros: Does a good job of containing the litter inside. Looks nicer than a plastic litter box. Looks more like a piece of cat furniture than a litter box. Comes in different colors. Easy to clean - take off the lid, empty the box, replace the lid. Cons: Is a little heavy, but unless you plan to move it around a lot, which I don't, it's not a problem. A little pricey, but to me it was well worth it.
Great idea to hide a box!

This box works great in a common area to hide the cat box and our cats like using it. They didn't want to use the litter box in there at first until I took the lid off and let them use it like they normally would. After I saw both of the cats use it that way, I put the lid on (which is a little heavy, by the way) they have no issues using it ever since! The box is great quality and they love to lay on top of the box and they do pick on it too. We got the gray one and the color is a dark gray just like we were hoping. High quality and built well, color options were great
Contains cat litter very well!

This is a very large litter box container. I caulked the sides like a previous reviewer suggested however, now the litter sticks to the caulk. It is also very heavy. You need to consider the size of the litter box you are putting inside this box and the size of your cat(s). You can see the entrance is low and the cat needs to get into the carpeted box and then into their litter box. Fortunately I have different size litter boxes and found one that works well. I swap out the litter box and vacuum this carpeted box and put in a clean litter box. It has made changing the litter so much easier and faster. I haven't put the lid on it yet as it is very heavy as well. Be sure to measure, I was very surprised how large it is. Overall I am happy with the product. I work at home and have two cats and they like to use the litter box closest to where I am. It has worked out very well and worth the money.

This box is awesome! Way bigger than I imagined. Very sturdy! Completely covers the litter box and can hold the scooper and any other hidden objects. My cats love it! I've actually found one sleeping inside the box a few times! The carpet is sturdy enough for them to use as a scratch pad. The inside walls are smooth for easy cleanup. It is very heavy but my 10 y/o daughter is able to move it to clean. Definitely adds some class to the den!!

I really like this box so far. I read the reviews ahead of time and was prepared for it to be heavy. The lid too is sturdy, but not unreasonably so. So I basically decided to move it once and not move it again, which is working well. The inner dimensions are 28.5"x16.5" and it fit a medium sized covered litter box I had, but we couldn't get the cover on...which is fine since the box has a lid. But the cats love it and it contains the smell well and looks very nice, which is why we bought it in the first place. Pros: Looks great, decent size, sturdy.
Looks as expected

My cat is refusing to use this as a litter box place (he just would lounge in the litterbox inside this enclosure). I expect that the box was too short and as a result my cat is uncomfortable with the cover. He likes sitting on top of the box at times. I plan to use the box without the lid to see if that will help contain litter without making my cat feel trapped. I remember reading a review from another purchaser saying that the carpeting attached to the lid wasn't very secure. I agree that over time I would expect this to come off the box. It does not seem to be attached well. I can't really give a bad review just because my cat doesn't want a covered litter box. The box is as expected, but the one star off is for the poor attachment of carpet to the box.

I bought this for my mother because she was having issues with her cats kicking a lot of litter out of their boxes. This has solved most of her problems for her, and it has made the bathroom where she keeps the litter box look a lot nicer without the box being so visible.
AWESOME~* Cat House to Lounge in, get away from the big dogs, etc..

This is the Greatest! My cats all love it! I Don't use it as a litter box, but as a lovely bunker/lounger. I put memory foam bath mats inside & a large one on Top too, for Comfort*, for them to sleep/rest on, etc...bath mats are easy to wash. A person can sit on this. You can also put another cat bed on top~* Very heavy, but well worth it! Around 3 - 4 Fat cats, can lounge in here at once.

My cat wasn't to sure about it in the beginning, being closed in and all, I'm not sure she liked going in the box then having to then step in the litter box. I bought some flex seal paint and painted the inside of the box, now i put the litter directly into the box. The flex seal works great! My cat loves all the room she has to go to the bathroom. She's happy. .I'm happy.
