Modus Nevis Espresso Panel Low Profile Bed - NLP23

Very pleased with this bed. Pretty much just simple and classy. I have a box spring on mine and it sits at the perfect height (which I had concerns about). The quality is much better than expected and the assembly wasn't too bad; two people make it a whole lot easier. Would highly recommend.

This bed was purchased for a friend looking to smarten up his otherwise bachelor pad apartment. The bed worked magic in taking him from sloppy frat boy to refined adult.

I love the look of this bed. I had it in a Queen size but wanted to upgrade to a king size so this is my second purchase of the same bed. Beautiful look .. the wood is a little soft on my king bed so be careful. Having said that .. my Queen bed looked brand new after 5 years of use. The only HUGE issue with the king size bed is that it will (quite literally) distroy your mattress (sinks and breaks from the center) due to it's complete lack of support. Here is what I did .. I went to [...], bought additional planks to run horizonally across, bought a 2" by 4" plank and had it cut to 2" larger than the size of the center legs (6 pieces) and spray painted them, bought 2 additional planks to run vertically and put 3 legs on each plank and attached it in the center (6 inches apart from the center). Now the bed has 6 legs in the middle .. I got rid of the 2 short and lame legs it comes with. I have one STRONG bed but had to go through a nightmare experience with a damaged mattress and warranty exchanges due to the bed. The Queen bed .. no complains .. at all ..

We read other comments that the slats were not adequate for the bed this proved to be very true. It came as a total shock when the side rail split because it was not a solid piece it was FINGER JOINTED and badly at that. [...] I was told someone would contact me in a day or two STILL WAITING...DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.

We love this bed... we originally had it in queen and love it so much that when we got our new king mattress we purchased it in king-size.

I love everything about this bed except for the lack of support. After a few weeks, all the slats literally broke while my partner and I were sleeping. We caved into the floor in the middle of the night! It was frightening, but we had a good laugh once we figured out what happened. We've since replaced the support slats with new lumber. It's a lot sturdier now.

We've been using this bed for several weeks now and so far it's working out well for us. Color matches our nightstands perfectly. We also bought the matching dresser. Cal king size is great. Just watch the legs when you walk around the bed, I've tripped a couple times already b/c they stick out a bit!

I was a bit nervous ordering bedroom furniture online - but the bed and the matching armoire were at a price too great to pass up.Yes - the mattress/boxspring makes the bed very high - but I love it. Great, stylish bed. Nice wood. I was a little concerned while putting it together, as the middle support legs looked a little short. Turns out, the middle support legs adjust in height (by loosening/tightening the plastic piece on the bottom). Once adjusted, the frame became really sturdy. LOVE IT!
