The tables are well built and something of a novelty. They are functional and easily moved about the room as needed. However, Their colors were somewhat flat and dull looking when I took them from the shipping box so I gave each a couple of coats of a finishing product called POLYCRYLIC. The effect was great because they burst into life and now look twice as rich and colorful as they did upon arrival--- and even have a protective coating to boot. I didn't realize that the top surface was not wood. It's actually a black faux snakeskin. It's not the kind of thing I'd pick out normally, but it actually adds a nice dimension to to the room. A bonus is that you won't need coasters. The design is unique and versatile. I'm very happy with this."..."  Read more
