Nesting Tables

This is a beautiful set of large nesting tables. I wanted nesting tables because we never have enough tables for people to put their drinks on when we have parties. I keep them nested, but for a party, I spread the two lower tables around. The scrollwork on the tables is beautiful. Although the brand is oriental these would look great with Tuscan or Old World furnishings. I have an updated classic style, and they are perfect. My only caveat is that they are not super well made - they are not really high quality furniture. I am not even sure they are wood - in fact I think they are particle board at best. I read one of the reviews about the wood stain of the three nesting tables being darker than the one pictured. It is totally true. My husband opened the box and had put one table together before I got home from errands. Had I been at home when the box was opened, I would have sent the set of nesting tables back. The color was much, much darker than the picture in the ad and doesn't go with my decor. That said, assembly was easy although one of the tables wobbles a bit. The price was great, too. I have a large sectional couch with a 4 ft. square ottoman and no room for a coffee table. When we have guests over, we place the small tables at intervals between the couch and ottoman, and everyone has a place to put a drink or snack. It is absolutely perfect. When the evening is over, the tables are stacked again and placed against the wall, and I keep my current magazines displayed on them. These tables are incredibly handy. I bought 2 sets for my living room, which is small. I have one set of the tables "nesting" under a window, ready for use. I keep the medium table of the second set in front of my couch for the remote, a drink, newspaper, etc. The other 2 tables sort of float around the house wherever I need them. They were simple to put together and look good. They blend in well with the rest of furniture which includes an antique side table and more modern pieces."..."  Read more
