Nesting Tables

I like these tables but I did not expect the wood planks to be painted. I thought it would be a raw wood but they aren't- another color is applied to the top of the planks. Also, one of the planks on the larger table was not seated all the way down in the metal frame and was higher than the other planks. I hit it hard with the palm of my hand to make it flush and that solved that problem, however, there is a larger gap in the wood that I find a bit unasthetically pleasing between 1/2 of that plank and the one next to it. No biggie- I'll get used to it. These tables are also a bit lighter than one would expect but they ARE nesting tables so I guess it would defeat the purpose if they weighed a million pounds. ;) Overall I DO like this set and I AM keeping them. These nesting tables are perfect as small end tables or as extra tables near the sofa for guests. They look good and they're solid (unlike TV Tray style tables) - Also, as they nest inside one another, they don't take up too much space."..."  Read more

I got the large and small tables with the white base and walnut top. The walnut is nice rich grain that looks great against the white. The large table was a little higher than I expected and is about an inch higher than the arm of the couch it is next to. Definitely make sure you measure to be sure the table is the size you are looking for."..."  Read more

These are really nice tables. Assembly was a snap. The larger one is really big, bigger than I anticipated. The only thing that perplexed me was the nesting part. The smaller one does not slide under the larger, it won't fit. You actually have to lift the larger one over the small one and lower it into place and vice versa.
