I love the size, but the countertop gets hot when in use even at the lowest setting. It also is very noisey. I may have to return it for fear of fire.

Our old round dehydrator (of many years) finally quit on my, but when I had the opportunity to purchase a product from Wayfair, I discovered this one. The shape and size of the dehydrator trays are great.[...] I used the dehydrator immediately to make jerky and the performance was excellent. It was fairly quiet, just the hum of the fan motor. The only thing that I would have liked is one or two more trays; however, I believe more trays may be ordered separately from Nesco. Overall, very pleased.

Very quiet! I first turned it on near my working washing machine and I actually had to put my ear on it to make sure it was running! I've dried a few things in it already and I have no complaint about the quality. I would suggest getting a timer to plug it into because it doesn't have one built in. I've lost a few tomatoes to mold because I didn't want to leave it running all night, which would have been way too long, but didn't want to get up in the middle of the night to check it and unplug it. Otherwise, it seems to be a great machine. I did tomatoes first and was a little apprehensive about cleaning it, especially since I don't have a dish washer, however, a little hot soapy water and a scrub brush and the trays came almost completely clean. I think there may be some staining in a couple areas...but they were tomatoes!

I have used (so far) this product to dry tomatoes, strawberries and figs. It was fast, usually getting done in the lower spectrum of the timeframe. It was so quiet! Great becuz I have a small house and you can hear everything everywhere! lol Also it was easy to use and the accompanying booklet was super easy to follow. I was so blessed to be given one of these dehydrators to review. I recommend it to everyone!

The square shape of this dehydrator is a huge plus as you can fit a large amount of jerky strips on the trays. Dries very quickly. Awesome product!!

I MAKE TONS OF JERKY, FOR MY HUSBAND AND FOR MY TWO DOGS AND THIS PRODUCT IS GREAT. EASY CLEAN UP AND 5 TRAYS. I MADE A TON OF LIVER JERKY FOR THE DOGS WITHOUT ANY SALT OR SEASONING AND THEY JUST LOVE IT. THE CHICKEN JERKY I ALSO ENJOY WITHOUT SEASONING. NOW I WILL TRY THIS ON FRUITS SUCH AS APPLES AND PINEAPPLE.
