There is almost no padding in the back and shoulders, and the seams started to tear with my laptop and a book in the pack. This is not a pack to take backpacking or to use for a BOB if you're into that whole survivalist thing. Spend the extra money on a pack that will last. Was this helpful? Yes / No

Nick from Buffalo NY	2.0 4/10/2012 Torn at the seams I bought this to use while in ACU and just tooling around, nothing heavy, no combat, not even training. The bottom ripped out while I had a notebook and running shoes in it so I super glued it back together. Then it ripped at the seam along the top zipper when it got caught on a chair. Ideal for hiking/adventuring. or tactical purposes :D . bag has one main storage pocket that is big enough for 3-5 days worth of clothes just to give an idea of dimension. Sternum Support strap is adjustable and able to move higher or lower to fit any sized person. waist support strap is unmovable but adjustable for waist size. backpack has a small passageway for a hydration bladder tube to slip through near the top. lots of places for carabiners and other accessories to be clipped on to. Overall, this pack is amazing for function, price is unbeatable. Plenty of space. Material seems rugged and water proof. No regrets for this purchase!
