I needed a case for my Warwick Bass. I have always used hard shell cases and was reluctant to purchase a soft case. The Contego Bass case by Protec is extremely well built with large pockets,smooth working zippers, balance and just great construction. I feel very comfortable transporting my instrument in this case. I am buying another for my Music Man Bass. If you are a working musician and are transporting your instrument from gig to gig you will find that there are other and more expensive Gig Bags available. I use this case exclusively for my 3/4 size Fender Squire Stratocaster. Even though it could have been 1/2" longer, it works fine IF you put a napkin or hankie over the headstock of the guitar to keep the zipper from rubbing it. I love this case. It is sturdy, well-made, has a great carrying handle AND shoulder strap AND a sizable storage area. Zip all that up with a big sturdy zipper!
