Music Cases

I'd like to see the case be even a little sturdier than it is, but with that comes more weight, which I wouldn't welcome much of. All in all, it's a very nice case inside and out. I've had the misfortune to witness airline baggage handlers at work on many occasions, and I worry that this case might not stand up to their considerable abuse -- especially when they start piling (throwing) things on top of my case. Time will tell. I plan to give it an airline test in the not so distant future. I'm pretty certain it will perform better than most any chipboard case. I've owned one before. Wasn't all that impressed. For everyday use, this case has been outstanding. Looks like it cost quite a bit more than I paid for it. Seems very well constructed. I checked out a local music store before I bought this case, and they wanted more for a chipboard case than I paid for this one. Heavens knows what they'd want for one like this. This is an excellent light weight case. There is enough storage space and backpack straps that make it incredibly convenient and easy to use around town. It is strong and insulated enough to be comfortable with but don't mistake it for a Calton or an Accord. It is not a flight case or a super strong case. Get the real deal to protect a valuable instrument. It is a little small for my guitar so I recommend people to double check dimensions some larger classicals will be a bit snug. My only real complaint is with the handle. It is poorly designed and poorly placed. I try to use shoulder straps as much as possible but the handle is a real annoyance. It is too large, hangs too far from the case and is not centered well. The case suits what I need it to though. This guitar case is my first purchase from Wayfair and I'm completely satisfied with the transaction as a whole. After extensive search online Wayfair had the best price for what I wanted. This case is well constructed, sturdy and light. I have a similar case which is much heavier (plywood construction) but as I'm using this primarily for storage, not serious gigging, I wanted something lighter. Of course if you're in a band and traveling with heavy expensive equipment/instruments you might want to consider a more solid construction case. This case came higly recommended to me, and I was not disappointed. I build my own guitars with a custom design, so finding a case to fit is difficult. The dimensions as listed on the web site were correct, and this helped me fine tune the choice of which case to buy. The purchase was easy, the service was great, and the guitar fit perfectly.
