Music Cases

I'd like to see the case be even a little sturdier than it is, but with that comes more weight, which I wouldn't welcome much of. All in all, it's a very nice case inside and out. I've had the misfortune to witness airline baggage handlers at work on many occasions, and I worry that this case might not stand up to their considerable abuse -- especially when they start piling (throwing) things on top of my case. Time will tell. I plan to give it an airline test in the not so distant future. I'm pretty certain it will perform better than most any chipboard case. I've owned one before. Wasn't all that impressed. For everyday use, this case has been outstanding. Looks like it cost quite a bit more than I paid for it. Seems very well constructed. I checked out a local music store before I bought this case, and they wanted more for a chipboard case than I paid for this one. Heavens knows what they'd want for one like this. This guitar case is my first purchase from Wayfair and I'm completely satisfied with the transaction as a whole. After extensive search online Wayfair had the best price for what I wanted. This case is well constructed, sturdy and light. I have a similar case which is much heavier (plywood construction) but as I'm using this primarily for storage, not serious gigging, I wanted something lighter. Of course if you're in a band and traveling with heavy expensive equipment/instruments you might want to consider a more solid construction case. This case will protect your guitar quite well. Although this FENDER brand case was made by SKB, it is not quite as good as the SKB brand version (1SKB-66). Just place the two cases side by side & you will see what I mean. Your guitar will fit a little more snugly in the SKB brand case. Fender brand is good but SKB brand is better. If you love the Fender brand, I would recommend the Fender brand case for you."..."  Read more

This particular case fits a DeArmond Sevenstar guitar. The unique reverse-offset body of the Jetstar Guild/Dearmond line made acquiring a case (one was NOT included on [...]) a challenge. Thanks to Google, my inquiry brought me here, to Wayfair as a Jetstar owner had already done the "gumshoe" work, and had recommended this model for the Jetstar body-style.
