Great Speed Rope

Great product. Excellent price (~$8) It does come tightly coiled in the package, but as long as you use it properly, it will not stay coiled up. This, even after adjusting the cable to be much shorter.
Solid performance speed ropes

A light yet fast rope. Ideal for jumpers who have or are experienced with jumping rope - not ideal for new jumpers as the cable is so light. You will need to cut the cable to fit to your length or simply move the screw to adjust the length if multiple people want to use the same rope at different lengths. Overall - nice speed rope for the price.
Great Speed Rope

It wasn't quite what I expected, but I am nonetheless happy with the product. The material for the rope is more like a flexible wire than rubber (I expected a thin but heavy-ish rubber rope). It came coiled up and took a few days and some use for the ringlets to disappear, but it didn't affect performance. It is a simple and effective design, easy to adjust, and pretty easy to use. Great for double-unders, etc. And you can't beat the price.

First off, the rope is far too light for me, but that is entirely my fault. This rope requires a turning speed that is beyond my current skill level. I ended up buying a heavier rope to use until I get more proficient. The complaint I have us that the cable has extraordinary memory and will not lose its coiled shape. My understanding is that this gas to do with the material used for the coating. My other rope, made by rx does not suffer from this problem. Remove it from the packaging and it just straightens right out.

I like this rope. It may not be the top of the line rope, but it is also a lot less expensive. Most users would not be able to tell the difference between the top of the line ropes and this one.

My first rope of this type.I'm used to heavier rubber ropes so I haven't gotten used to the light weight. I can see its neccessity for double unders.
Good but not great jump rope
Mike from Cary, NC
Cable is slightly too light but it is definitely fast. Also, the cable slips in to the handle effectively making the cable shorter as you start to move it faster...this could be easily fixed by adding another cable clip but it would've been nice to see this included.
Great in theory, but cable won't straighten out

I love the handles and really the whole concept of this jump rope, BUT, I can't get the coils to come out of the cable. It catches on my feet rendering this useless. I have tried to hang it so the coils hang out, and back bend the cable, but the coils WILL NOT STRAIGHTEN! I want to love this rope as it would surely be more durable than other rubber ones, and if the cable ever straightens, I'm sure I would, but right now, it's useless. I go 8-10 jumps max before it catches my feet. It's not my form, it's the coils.

These ropes are inexpensive and work fairly good for a speed rope. Advantage cheap and can be cut to length.
They are ok

Good spinning and comfortable grips. The nuts that hold them together though come off all the time and will require loctite to keep them from coming off. Also the cable requires a lot of time to straight out after packaging. Because its a metal cable, it keeps the shape of being wrapped up from shipping.
