About the Manufacturer

Montana Woodworks was founded in 1991 by Richard Harding. In 1996 Mr. Harding sold the business to Jr. Troyer. In 1998 the business was acquired by Delmar Schrock. Then in 2002 Mr. Schrock sold the company to Noah Hostetler and Duane Hostetler. This Father-Son team formed a partnership and the business became Montana Woodworks LLP. During this period, Montana Woodworks enjoyed massive growth. The brick and mortar business was expanded, new buyers were contracted, and an online presence was formed. Finally in 2006 the company was incorporated and became Montana Woodworks Inc., and Duane Hostetler became the president of the company. Montana Woodworks is currently a family business employing all members of the immediate working family. Environmental responsibility is more than just a phrase at Montana Woodworks. They are truly dedicated to ensuring the sustainability of nature's finest treasures for future generations to use and enjoy.

The Montana Glider is a Rustic style product. Rustic style uses a warm nature-inspired color palette: whites, browns, blacks, grays, and tans. Hints of green, orange, and red can be found as accent colors. Incorporating natural materials, such as wood, stone, leather, sisal, wool, clay, and various metal finishes, throughout the decor, is the key element to Rustic style. Contrasting textures and patterns are also used in this style. You can shop for more Rustic Patio Rockers & Gliders in the Patio & Garden section of our site.

Best Ever Glider

Mary from Litchfield, MN– Verified Buyer

I ordered this for my husband for Father's Dan and his 4 th year of sobriety. He earned it big time! He absolutely loved it when it was delivered and started putting it together immediately. 4 days later it was together, 2 coats of varnish and sitting in our gazebo with his radio next to it. It is so well made and just a handsome piece of furniture so I added a bench cushion and now it's really wonderful to sit in and look at the lake we are on. Thank you for such a wonderful piece of furniture.

Great Glider

Chris from Parker, CO– Verified Buyer

Arrived several days earlier than expected (a pleasant surprise). Put it together in about 1.5 hours. Gave it 3 coats of a neutral colored polyurethane and it looks amazing. The craftsmanship is top notch and the wood is beautiful. The gliding motion is very smooth and it doesn't make any noise. I highly recommend this glider.
