My husband & I bought 2 sets. Overall the bar stools look very nice and we are happy with them, especially for the price. They were relatively easy to assemble. A few issues we noted though were 1) the screws that were included to secure the cross bars were not long enough. We put them in and the would not keep the bars from moving, making the chair unstable. I ended up going to Lowes and getting the same screws but longer in length and this fixed the problem 2) after the chairs were assembled some had a slight wobble to them. This was fixed by adding a small protective pad to the bottom of the leg. For our purposes they work out well but if you are looking for really sturdy bar stools, you may want to look into other options.
Great stool...if you can get it assembld

I ordered two sets of barstools. One set had 2 left feet, but a quick call to Wayfair fixed that. The new leg arrived a few days later. However, ALL of the chairs had issues fitting together properly. I don't know the proper words, but it's like a peg and hole system, which you then screw together. The peg parts were ALL too big for the holes. I went out and bought a rubber mallet thinking it just needing a little help. No luck. I then borrowed a Dremmel and had to shave down the pegs. That worked, but made a pretty good mess. There is also one place where you have to use washers and screws. The way it was built, there was no room for a washer. A support piece was right next to the hold giving no clearance for the washer. I had to just skip that hole. All in all, it took probably 3 days, a rubber mallet, and a Dremmel to get these together. But I have to admit, they're nice chairs once you get them assembled. Just make sure you have a few vacation days before you buy.

I bought 6 of these to go around my island. They weren't the easiest things to assemble but they weren't awful either. I have had them close to a year now and they are holding up well. The only fault is if you step or rest your feet on the supports a lot the stain/finish wears away. I have a 5 year old who uses the supports as a stool to get up on them so his chair is a little scuffed up on the supports but a stain pen touches it up fine.
NOT 26 height!
Marilyn from California– Verified Buyer
Before you go any further just know that these stools are not really 26 in height. They're more like 24 and maybe even shorter than that. The description is incorrect. Now that we have that out of the way, the stools themselves are very good and are better than reasonably priced. They're super easy to put together and seem very sturdy. It's just that the height (or lack of height) was disappointing. To the powers that be, please change the description!
Excellent appearance and value

These counter height stools match our kitchen perfectly. The colour and style is great. I do agree with the points made in the other reviews regarding the difficulty with assembly. Although few pieces are involved, it took us an excessively long time to get the pieces to line up correctly and join tightly without spaces. While I realize the shipping box would be larger, I would suggest the company ship the stools assembled.

I was a bit hesitant to order these chairs, but I am happy with the product. They were a bit tricky to put together. The reviews I read before ordering were spot on when they said the pre-drilled holes weren't lined up. They weren't. Also, I would recommend not using the screws they used. Some of them actually fell out, so I ended up getting 2" screws. This worked much better. Overall, these are really nice chairs for a REALLY good price!
Great Value but did need extra screws

Great value. Stools look great and cant really beat the price. However, like many of the other reviews mention, you need longer screws. i got a pack at home depot pretty easily and for under $3 and chairs got much tighter/more secure. Also, directions do not mention the locking washer but should be sure to use those as it makes the bolts tighter/prevents them from loosening. Definitely a great purchase and would do so again.
pretty stools, very dark color & rock
Kim from Rivervale, NJ– Verified Buyer
Bought 2 sets for center island/breakfast bar. Had them assembled by a professional carpenter. Of note is that 3 out of 4 rocked significantly. We solved this by putting different amounts of felt pieces on the bottoms. Also, the brown is so dark it almost looks black. Otherwise very pretty stools & they were half the price of other comparable ones!
Villa 25" Bar Stools
Pamela from Crawfordsville, IN– Verified Buyer
The bar stools arrived on time. They were packed very well and my husband had no trouble putting them together. They look great and are very sturdy. My grandsons use them everyday(ages 7 & 2) and love them. The only thing missing was a small level on the very bottom of one stool but we took care of that. Really happy it was just what I needed and I think they last for a long time.
Comfortable counter stools
