Looks Decent - But is low quality with horrendous assembly from Cambridge, MA on 08/17/2014 – Verified Buyer
Let me preface this review by saying that I am quite familiar with building boxed furniture, from tables to entertainment centers, to desks, to bookcases, to sofas, I've done it all. Second, I did not have overly high expectations for a 120$ kitchen table. That being said, this table is bad, plain and simple and I would not recommend it. To be fair, it does look decent once its assembled, but the construction is lacking and I have to say that it was the worst assembly I've ever encountered from a piece of boxed furniture (even counting those early boxed sets with Chinese instructions and 30% of the pieces missing). First off, while the instructions aren't useless, they aren't good by any stretch. Especially compared to other box-brands. The entire table is broken down into about 4 steps, each of which could easily have been 2-3 steps in and of themselves. While bad instructions aren't anything new, the material of the table and chairs really brings this set down. It all feels cheap, and yes, I get that this isn't a high-end table, but it feels so cheap that it doesn't feel safe. I'm talking, if you are big, do not get this table, if you ever even remotely consider leaning back in your chair, do not get this table. The surface of the table also feels cheap, in fact, when putting in the screws (which have no guide-holes, at all, by the way) the surface of the table will bubble a little bit. The only thing that surprised me is that the cushions on the chairs are about what you'd expect from a table of this price, which would be average. The rest of the construction is just flimsy, from welds that don't match up on each side of the chair, to physical gaps from poor speed welding, nothing feels solid, at all. Furthermore, the hardware included is junk. I was using my hands, no power tools, and 2 screws snapped in half on me. You'll have to torque the screws quiet a bit too, because you will have to bend, yes BEND the chairs into place to get things to line up. I have never seen such a low quality as to actually have to BEND furniture to assemble it. Even once the screws were lined up, the chairs were uneven. So if you have hard floors (no carpet, etc.) be prepared to have wobbly chairs. You may be thinking they were warped because I bent them, no, literally I had to bend them just to get them to line up to the manufacturer's specifications. Once you've spent about 10x as long building the table and chairs as necessary, the will look decent (from a distance) and its a good table for a small kitchen space (or any small space). However, and I rarely say this, it simply doesn't feel safe. I almost feel as if 2 stars are too generous, but since it hasn't broke on us yet and it is (relatively) cheap, I'll stick with 2 stars, anything more than that would be a disservice to potential buyers though.

Great set for our apartment! from Colorado Springs, CO on 11/15/2013 – Verified Buyer
I ordered this set for my apartment. I fell in love with it when I saw the picture of it, so I decided to give it a try. When I got it in the mail, it was pretty easy to put together until I got to the part where I had to attach the chair cushions and the table top. There were no pre-drilled holes, so my husband and I had to go out and buy a drill. It would have been really nice if they had simply included the holes. Otherwise, the table has been great! Surprisingly sturdy, and it looks so nice! People compliment it when they come over. I did spray some polyurethane on the table top to provide some protection, but it still does scratch pretty easily. But really, this set is great if you can put it together and take care of it. Really cute set, and fit perfectly in our space!

Cute and Easy to assemble from Washington, DC on 04/22/2015 – Verified Buyer
This table is great for the area of my house, it's stylish and eacy to assemble espceially for someone like me who rarely read directions and follow them when it come to assembling furniture, bikes or anything and this was easy as pie and it took about 30 mins to put it together. Pros: Good and sturdy product Cons: The seats could have been a little bigger or it's telling me something about myself, lol.

Great! from Brigham City, UT on 06/26/2015 – Verified Buyer
Just moved into a small apartment that had a very small kitchen, I wanted a place to sit there that wouldn't be too much in the way, and this one was exactly what I needed. Only reason for 4 stars, not 5, is that the assembly was a bit difficult and the pieces didn't fit quite perfectly together, making me worried about the long term stability. But I haven't had any issues yet, and it's a cute set for my small space.

Very Comfortable kitchen furniture. from Longmont, CO on 12/03/2014 – Verified Buyer
I was happy to received exactly what I was hoping for. The 3 piece dining set by Monarch fits perfectly in front of our patio sliding glass door and now I can enjoy my coffee looking out at the backyard. Thank you! Cons: One of the legs of the chairs was damaged from delivery, but a replacement was promptly sent within a few days.
