My cats loved them immediately and especially like the cradles. It is a very durable piece of furniture. I have 4 cats and they can get quite rough when they play. It is VERY sturdy and with all their rolicking anything less strong would fall over. They also like sleeping, mostly on the top part, and scratching on the posts.
