What a beautiful piece of furniture. It truly makes a statement in our bedroom. The bed is well made and you do not need a boxspring. I was a little concerned about it being much lower to the floor than our old bed. However, getting in and out of bed has not been a problem. We took the recommendation of a previous customer and used an electric screwdriver. It is a must!!! Also, pay close attention to the instructions because there are a couple of pieces you put together that were not labeled. It took some time to figure that out.

We bought this bed for our new loft-like master bedroom. The assembly took about an hour, but once it was put together the bed fitted perfectly in the large bedroom. The bed frame construction is low modern Asian style, that you only need the mattress (no box spring). The only reason I gave it a 4 star is because the headboard is white, which is fine since it sits low and the pillows cover them up, but would have preferred it in dark brown. Overall the bed looks beautiful and feels solid.

I was away from the property at the time of delivery, so my contractor received it for me. The delivery company brought it up 2-12 flight of stairs - very carefully, as the house was just painted, and removed the packaging as listed on the website.
