When I was searching for the perfect high chair, I was shocked at how much they cost for the features. The safety 1st high chair won me over for the following reasons.
- removable sear cover for easy cleaning (shocked at how few chairs have this feature)
- adjustable height
- modern design
- foldable
- the price is right
Cons:
After using it for a few months here are few of my dislikes
- wheels are clumsy, difficult to maneuver and locking mechanism is weak
- to wash the seat cover, you'd have to remove the seat from the frame which takes some effort (remove wheels, slide seat out, remove tray, remove cover)

This high-chair is phenomenal. We have had it for two weeks already and it is the best purchasing decision we have made. Our daughter is 5 months and has a medical issue which means she is fed via a g-tube and also has a tracheostomy. This chair is ideal for multiple activities - feeding while sitting up, sleeping while reclining. The chair is moved around easily and is great to zip her from the dining room into the living room into the kitchen without having to move her at all. The height of the chair is perfect as it means no more back bending as with most of those bouncy type chairs but the recline feature means it acts like a bouncy chair for sleeping. The chair is well built, feels solid. We went and bought the toy rack and chair cover because we were so impressed. The materials feel luxurious and we certainly feel we got value for money. At the end of the day you pay for what you get. Fortunately we were able to make the decision to get this chair. When you think that we will have this chair for three years it seems like more than good value."..." Read more

I did a lot of reading reviews on this booster, as well as on a couple of other very similar boosters. And I found myself torn about which to buy. I took a leap and bought this one, the price was right, and it was what I had been looking for.
*It has no straps to hold it on the chair, but it does not slip from place, even when wiping it down after meals, it is very secure.
*It has not seemed to bother the finish on my wood chairs, but they are old and it doesn't matter a whole lot.
*I wipe it down after every meal with a wet dish cloth. And I have had no problems cleaning it. It does have a textured finish on the seat part, which I can see how it could cause a problem if you allowed food to dry on it.
*The seat is made out of a foam similar to the bumbo seats for babys. It seems very comfortable to my 2 year old and she loves sitting at the table with us!
*The seat does have a odor/smell to it. If you put your face close to it, you can smell it. But since the bottom half of my child uses the seat I am not too worried about it.

We couldnt be happier with our Prima Pappa Best high chair. Our son is 4 months old and is so comfortable in the reclined position. The fabric is so soft and comfortable. It is obvious it will wipe clean easily once he begins solids.
The construction of the chair is superb. Very solid.
My only complaint would be the position of the tray. There does appear to be a bit of a gap between the seat and the position of the tray which may be a problem when we begin using the chair for foods."..." Read more
