Will this Minka Aire Wall Mounted Remote Control System and Receiver control the three fan speeds, and up and down lighting? Is it a suitable replacement for the original equipment manufacture hardware ?” asked by Laila

It does have a three fan speed, standard on/off plus adjustable dimmer for the lighting. Since this also made by Minka, it would be an acceptable replacement to the original one."

The Minka fans had the remote wall controls and they worked great. We then purchased the hand held controls, to accommodate our wall controls, just a great addition and inexpensive. We replaced the two porch ceiling lights with Minka fans and hand held controls. Talk to their technical people about your arrangement, before you purchase. The person was very knowledgeable and saved us time and money. Be good to yourself. Was this helpful? Yes / No
Ref Dude from Goodyear, Arizona	2.0 8/28/2011 Minka Wall Remote Control System and Rec Product Review Product was a replacement for factory original equipment. Service Review Delivery was prompt, and in factory condition. The item is not a factory original replacement. My fans have an upper and lower light for which the original receiver had four wires for full fan speed and individual light control. The replacement receiver has three wires, which means the lights, upper and lower, are controlled by one button. Was this helpful? Yes / No
