I'm using this rug in my living room to set off my beautiful hardwood floors after decades of wall-to-wall carpeting. Even though I've always been a traditionalist, I actually decided to go contemporary after seeing this rug. It goes well with the blues of the sofa and window treatments, and there is just enough red in it to go with my accent pillows. The rug is so soft under bare feet that guests shouldn't object to my new no-shoes-on-my-refinished-floors policy.
A real plus for me is that the rug was made in America.
I don't know of any negatives.
