It really is true that dogs do not want to potty where they sleep or stay. With that said I have used it for my two little Pomeranian's when I have to leave the house to run an errand no longer then 2 hours. I take them out to potty prior to putting them in the crate and then when I come home I take them out again to potty afterwards. They never potty in the crate which is very good. Was this helpful?
