Ferret doesn't mind being in this cage because she has so much room; she constantly tried to get out of the previous one - biting the wire etc. Cage is easy to assemble (and disassemble I suppose). No tools are required however a rubber mallet or some type of padded hammer will make it easier. Build quality is good, in fact it is shipped with very little padding inside box; although box had taken some damage all pieces of the cage inside were a-ok.

I recently purchased this cage after considering many others. It is a bit more expensive but you get what you pay for. It is plenty roomy for my female ferret, extremely easy to clean, which for me was a major concern as my ferret is still a baby, and these lovable little things require some patience for litter training. Easy access double doors swing wide and are ferret proof. It is large and does require a bit of space, but with the included casters, it's very easy to move around. Assembly was not difficult, and no tools were required, but go slowly and pay close attention to the illustrations when you put this together.

Service Review

Delivery was made by FedEx to my door. It is a bit heavy, so be prepared to have some help if you think you will need it. The cage came in a cardboard box, well packed, and it screamed "A Ferret Lives Here!" Be warned if you are hiding a little furry buddy from your landlords, this box will give it away in the trash!

The box was a little beat up and ripped by the time it got to my door. I was afraid some pieces may have fallen out. Thankfully everything was there.

Easy to put together, easy to clean, sturdy construction. I love the storage underneath. Ive have a hedgehog for about 3 months and he is very happy in this home.
