Please check all around for openings. My blind dog found an opening at the top of the cage. Climbed out of the cage. I'm lucky he didn't get hurt. Two metal bars were not joined. I called Wayfair and I had a new one the next day. Thank you Wayfair! Other than that! It does what I need it to do. I did get the 1 in grid. My little blind shih tzu gets scared when I'm gone and poops on the floor. Since he's blind, he steps in it and tracks all over the kitchen. I not only have to clean my dog but mop the whole kitchen and dinning room. With this cage, he poops and and steps in it and it falls to the bottom. All I have to do is give his paws a bath when I get home and clean the cage. I also bought some little shirts from Petsmart to put on him in case he lays down. Then all I do is wash the shirts. Then I'm not giving him a full bath everytime.

I have had experience with this product before and it is a very top of the line pen. It is strong and safe for puppies.

THis product is a super value and I love it for the period of transition from mommy to litters of pups without mom just before they go into their new homes or own puppy pens for potty triaing. The puppies stay clean, you dont have to worry about soiling with mom just leaving nor do you have to hover over the pups to keep the feces cleaned up (although I do...lol). It is a great producat and I dont know how I managed before with the traditional non grated floors with only the plastic pans!
Finally satisfied...but way too small with no choice any longer

I ordered many of the 48" puppy playpens from Midwest. They sadly did not work. They either came broken. The main problem was I had to have 2-3 people help lift the crate just so I could slide out the trays underneath. I should have been able to do this procedure alone. Midwest was not supportive over the phone when I called them to tell them of the flaw and Wayfair told me to just throw them out which was a bulk item my garbage company charged me for. I was very angry that no one was willing to help me as well angrier i bought products I expected to work and did not....BUT angrier that I had to pay to get rid of them! What made me the angriest is while I was using one of them, my female got 2 of her paws very stuck and it took us more then an hour to set her free. I decided to go with the 24' which works great! ....But way to small! I still have not solved my problem.
No walk and rolling!

This is a great quality playpen for your puppies. I love the fact that they're not having to walk and roll in their mess, it just drops down to the bottom. The only issue I had is I purchased three of these at the same time and the plastic trays were broken on all three of them. I thought that was a little odd that it was on all three. I'm hoping I can just get a replacement part sent out because I really do like these pens.

This kennel is great, especially if you're crate training your pup. If your pup has an accident it's easy to clean up, also has plenty of space to move around and play if you leave your pup in there for long periods of time. It's pretty big so you have to find the perfect spot inside your house if you plan on using it indoors.
If you need one of these, its great.

This is not a regular dog crate. It really is for puppies (or possibly multiple incontinent dogs).

Love the playpens. Only problem is the trays. They always come in damaged. Packaging needs to be improved on the trays.

The xpen was good but due to the weight, I think the deliverer dropped it and the plastic pans were shattered. It is too much of a pain to return something like this so keep that in mind if you use the plastic pans.
Great for many purposes.

I use these pens for puppies. Also, in our motor home. And in dog areas of the house when I need to separate dogs ( in season, show coats, etc.). So easy to clean especially when I use paper in the bottom tray.
