The Best Thing for Things that Go Bump in the Night!
Jeanne from Pittsburgh, PA – Verified Buyer
Are you a cat owner and a light sleeper Well, here is the answer to all your troubles with the feline loved one who has insomnia and finds it fun to explore places in the house where he can accidentally knock things over so he can hear a scream from the bedroom to go to sleep! This cat cage is a great relief for me at night and after two months of putting my cat in the cage with her fluffy bed (by putting 2 of the provided shelves together high on one side of cage which supports a big dog bed if your cat likes to stretch out) and the other shelf midway down so the cat can go down to the bottom without injury and there the litter pan (a nice size one too) awaits for him whenever he has the desire! My pet dog also has his cage right next to the cat cage and he too goes into his cage when I say bedtime. I put water and dry food for the cat in cage bowls and for the dog a treat before bedtime and water in his cage bowl. Now when I get up in the AM, no one gets up with me so I can trip over them or forget my own need to go to the bathroom when letting the dog out and then feeding them both! No more waking me up at night and if I should hear anything, time to call the police as no pet of mine is wandering while I am in bed sleeping for work the next day. It is a treat too for the weekend to let them out to sleep where they like to during the day and find them joining you in the bedroom when you wake up. Now a treat for them on Friday night when we all can sleep in is to not be put into their cages and when they hear me stirring and waking, they both come to me to great me Good Morning, and it is really nice, like those who have children and they do the same on the weekend when mommy and daddy are not going to work!
Kitties from Toronto
Our younger cats were harassing one of our older cats. This lead to her consistently peeing in the wrong places and a lot of stress for her and us. In this cage she settles quickly, eats and uses the litter box whenever she wants and has a comfortable bed where no one will take a swipe at her. It sits in living room and of course she comes out often for cuddles and such. It has restored harmony to our home! It's large enough for a regular sized covered litter box, and the top of the box actually helps her access the first perch. The included cushion is fantastic, but why not include two If you know about zip-ties you'll be happy with the construction and stability of the cage. A couple ties here and there and its perfect. If you don't use a few zips you'll find the cage slightly wonky. The perches wobble too much when jumped on, but again, a couple of strategically placed zip ties fixes this 100. Can't say enough about this product. Excellent value.
Great Cage for a great price
Jan from San Antonio, TX – Verified Buyer
This is the 2nd cage of this type that I have purchased. I particularly like the 4 large doors that open and lock independently of one another. The design of the doors is perfect for getting to food and litter box. The opening is large enough to get a scratching post or a large cat cube bed in and out of the cage. (I only use 2 of the shelves provided.) The cage is perfect for housing a momma and kittens during the nursing weeks, a new cat for the acclimation period in a home or a feral/community cat during a relocation acclimation period. (I would not recommend it for a cat to live in permanently, however...if you are going on vacation and have a cat service coming in to feed, it keeps the cat safe from escaping past the stranger out the door. Best assembled by 2 people with some zip ties handy.
It's a Home

My cats love this...and that makes me feel great. This cat kennel is a good size, is comfortable for two cats (10 and 13 lbs) and helps them feel safe when necessary. They go in and out of it when they want. They sleep in it when they want. I used it all the time when they were kittens. As adults, I use it when I have to kennel them. They don't mind at all. Get the extra cushions, place it in front of a window. I have water bowls attached to the wire sides and a high back litter box on the bottom. I include lose toys and hang down from the sides and top. They are set for the day if need be.
THIS WORKED PERFECTLY FOR MY CAT
Kelley from Findlay, OH – Verified Buyer
THE PRICE WAS AFFORDABLE AND THE CAT PLAYPEN WAS A PERFECT SOLUTION TO MY CAT'S SITUATION. My cat was ill; so, I purchased the crate to give him a comfortable space to live while he recuperated. I put the crate together and used black zip ties to further secure all sides (I can't fold it up with zip ties); I put 2 of the ledges together on top (also using zip ties) to accommodate a cat bed, then the next level was a great step down to the bottom where the FULL SIZE litter box was placed. Then to add further functionality, I built a wood tray to cover the top, when I feed my cats...it was a great solution for my cat. I also would roll it outside on my covered porch, during warm weather...my cat enjoyed safely enjoyed being outside. And, the wheels are a nice feature: I can easily move it to clean. Great product for the price. I'm sure you could find something sturdier, but, it would cost much more. It's a cat, not a tiger!
Darlin loves her playpen
Bonnie from Landisville, PA – Verified Buyer
Although it took a long time to put it together, Darlin, my three month old kitten loves it. It took her no time to climb to the top perch. She loves her soft bed. She spends the night in her playpen so that my older cat, Donovan and I can get some sleep. The size is perfect for a kitten. There is room for her food and water dishes and a litter box and still room for her to play with her toys. She and my older cat get along fine, but sometimes they just need a break from each other. The enclosure is easy to clean and easy to access. My older cat likes it also, however, he is very large and is not able to fit on the perches. The directions for putting it together are not real clear and they should tell you how to get it apart, before you begin to put it together. I would recommend this product.

Cat Cage/Playpen. Purchased two of these to work with rescues. Good for litters of kittens, special needs or sick animals requiring quarantine. You can add ramps between platforms for the very tiny ones. The door and latch design are poorly thought through but you can adapt solutions. Most reviewers indicated that it took approximately 1 hour with two people to put together. I'm just one person with one arm, and it took me nearly three hours for the first playpen, and a bit over two hours on the second. A few bloody knuckles and some careful manipulation. I put tape on the corners temporarily and when ready to donate them to a rescue secured them with zip ties. They served the purpose and provided a safe and large environment. Cats love them. I would purchase again at this price.
For the price and my purpose a good product
Valkyrie from San Juan Capistrano, CA – Verified Buyer
Bought this as a day time playpen for young foster kittens (6-9 wks. old). Needed a few zip ties when assembling and I still need to make a few minor adjustments. The double doors are a big improvement on the older model, also the shelving, though I'd suggest buying a few more pads for the rest since there is only 1 included if you are housing small kittens who need something to grip when they jump and land. It would be nice if the manufacture had some kind of ramp accessory available for those of us who use this cage for the younger kittens. I've set my shelves lower than they show and am trying to improvise a ramp from the lowest shelf to the next one on the opposite side. Also I put in a hammock bed above this middle shelf for those more adventurous climbers. Shipping time for the items I ordered was excellent.
Great Cat Cage!
Kristine from Northshore, MA – Verified Buyer
When I opened the box I was nervous, but I do love puzzles! The sides were caught together so you just have to carefully pull upwards while disentangling any caught sides or clamps as you lift. It helps to have a second person hold the side up for you. When standing upright before clamping the top in place I thought, for sure this would collapse back to its original position. I was pleasantly surprised that not only did it stay in place but it is quite sturdy. Its a little tight fitting the washers and screwing on the wheels but once you do it they are on solid. If anybody says the wheels fall off they clearly did not put them on correctly. The pull out pan is a great idea for cleaning and the 3 shelves are a must for any cat, along with the soft pad. This cage was priced so much higher everywhere else so I decided to give Wayfair a try. I am very glad I did especially for the free shipping and the lightning fast on time delivery.
Kitties love it - but I needed attachable food/water bowls!
Diane from Magalia, CA – Verified Buyer
I wanted this cage in order to protect my kitties when I needed to work in the garage (their home base). They were still a little too unpredictable to allow to roam freely. Within minutes, they knocked their food and water bowls over, slid off the blankets on two of the shelves. Suggestion - attachable food/water bowls and rubber-backed bath mats for the two other shelves (I was too lazy to make another attached cushion). Since then, things have gone more smoothly; I leave the doors open so the kitties can go in (and on top of) the cage whenever they want. Cage looks flimsy when first taken out of the package, but when it is put together it is really quite sturdy.
