I purchased this bag for my husband who's previous bag had been stolen. This definitely is not as nice as his older bag, but he seems to really like it. It lacks an external holder or strap for a water bottle. The metal clasps bend (the part that locks into the buckle) and need to be regularly stretched back out The compartments included are too small for magazines or an 8.5"x11" piece of paper. Inside is pretty roomy and I can fit my 17" laptop, a Wacom tablet, my clipboard (about an 1" thick) and I've managed to squeeze a book or two in as well. This is definitely worth the price. The picture is a pretty good dipiction of what it really looks like. The distressed leather is so cool and Ive gotten a lot of compliments on the gray.
