Messenger Bags

I use this bag to carry my laptop, lunch, etc to & from work. A few gripes: I wish 1) the laptop compartment had more cushioning 2) the velcro strap that secures my laptop was snugger, and 3) that the secondary compartment (that holds misc. smaller items) wasn't so flimsy. Once you buckle everything up for transport, it looks great, but when you unbuckle the bag, the material is not very stiff so it sags a bit. Aside from that, I do like the style. It is very comfortable, even for me at 6'7". The cupholder on the side is a nice practical touch for my recycled-plastic coffee mug. And it's super light. To be honest, if it weren't for the fact that it was made from recycled materials, I probably would have paid an extra $10 for a nice-looking, highly-rated Targus bag from the world's largest online retailer, but you make "sacrifices" for earth-friendly decisions like this and I say it's totally worth it."..."  Read more

Wonderful bag, I have had it nearly 1 month now and it still has that new leather smell. The texture of the bag is great as it adds a non slip quality to the bag. Pocket placement is great and I make use of the front one for my phone,wallet and gum. There is a very shallow verticle zippered pocket along one side of the bag, perfect for my house and car key. The main flap is kept together by magnets which made me apprehensive but so far has been great and I even have a new found appreciation for the quick access. I had bought this bag for my netbook as I like to take it with me to classes. This bag is a GREAT size, not too bulky but easily holds my notebooks, text books, and nicely stores pencils, pens and small items up front. Its a nicely made bag, and my brother wanted one after seeing mine. However, his laptop is too large for the padded pocket. Great briefcase or carry on type bag. The bag expands, has multiple pockets, slots for pens etc. a place for an ipod and you could use it to carry a shirt and slacks or a sweater or just a briefcase for your papers or magazines.
